Abby Falls
Abbey Falls (also referred to as Abbi Falls) is a popular waterfall in Kodagu district. River Kaveri drops for about 70 ft over wide rocks creating a spectacular view. While the height is not much compared to other waterfalls in Karnataka, Abbey Falls’ has wider fall area that creates spectacular views and its proximity to Madikeri city makes Abbey Falls desirable and easy to access.

Omkareshwara Temple
Just a stone’s throw away from the Madikeri Fort is the Omkareshwara Temple, built-in 1820 and featuring a blend of red tile-roofed Kerala architecture and Islamic-style domes. The Linga of this Shiva Temple is believed to have been brought from Kashi.
Tadiandamol Peak
The highest peak in the Coorg region – Scotland of India, and the second highest in Karnataka, Tadiyendamol is a trekker’s paradise. The structure was also renovated twice by the British. In 1933 the Britishers added a grand clock tower to the fort. Another interesting aspect of the fort is that Madikeri Fort is a unique fort that houses among other structures a temple, an Anglican Church, a prison and a museum.
Raja's Tomb
the tombs of Veerarajendra, his wife and their son Lingaraja, which are oddly Islamic in architecture with its domes and minarets embellished in trellis work. However, the entrance to each tomb has carvings of Hindu deities.
